Meeteetse has celebrated the Labor Day Weekend for more than 100 years! 2017 will bring the 105th year this celebration has happened in Meeteetse. It all began, so long ago, when Josh Deane wanted to celebrate all the hard work this community puts forth and so, the ranchers donated a couple of beef, cooks came in and cooked for a couple of days to provide a full meal for all who could attend. Then it off to the rodeo grounds for some fun! We have tried to keep this tradition alive while moving with the times and who we are today. So, come to Meeteetse and help us keep this celebration alive and make this an annual trip you just couldn’t live without!
