MEETEETSE SENIOR CENTER
Reservations for inside dining are appreciated by 9:30 am. Take-outs available up- on request. Meeteetse Senior Center offers congregate meals Monday and Wednes- day. Benefits of congregate meals are: healthy and nutritious meals, sense of com- munity, sense of purpose, decreased stress, and increased cognitive functioning for those participating in the program.
Lunch is served Monday and Wednesday at 12 noon. Suggested Donation: Seniors 60 & over: $4.50, Mandatory Non-Senior: $8.00. In accordance with Federal Law and the US Dept of Agri- culture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability. Menu is subject to change.

Frank Blackburn Jr. -Army WW11 Private ACO 1st Engineering School Regiment Born Nov. 1st, 1911 and Died Nov. 19th, 1942 of “line of duty injuries, non battle related". Lived at Sunshine in 1920 with parents Frank and Jennie Black burn.
George Enos Blackstone -Army WW1 Enlisted August 7, 1917- Released Mar 26, 1919. Left Hoboken Dec 12, 1917 on troop ship ANTIGONE as SGT HQ Ambulance Section, 116 Sanitary Train, 41st DIV. Returned from Brest, France aboard SS FREDERICK on Feb 19, 1919 for Camp Mills as SGT 1st Class Med Dept, Med Detachment 103rd Squad. Son of William and Luetta Johnson Blackstone.
