MEETEETSE LIBRARY COFFEE TALK & OTHER PROGRAMS
It is HOT out! If you need a spot to cool down, remember - we have air conditioning at the Library!! Everyone is welcome to come up, sit a spell and cool down.
We have quite a few pieces of Tiny Art for our Tiny Art Show in a Tiny Library. Come in and enjoy the artistic talents of your friends and neighbors. New pieces are coming in all the time so stop by throughout the month.
This week is MAGIC! Wednesday, August 10, 10:00 am- the Magic of Elliot Hunter will astound and amaze! This program will be in the School Cafeteria - everyone is welcome to come and see, Free & Open to the Public
Monday, August 22 the Meeteetse School is sponsoring a Welcome Back Open House & BBQ. The Meeteetse Library is joining in on the fun and will be OPEN that evening as well. Come in and meet us if you're new, browse the shelves, get a Library Card, see the Tiny Art, see what's new at the Library, stay for a goodie and a chat. We're looking forward to seeing you.
Need a Notary? Kelly, from the Cody Library, is working on a project in Meeteetse and will be here (generally) on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month. She is a Notary - the service is free. Call for times (868-2248).
Did you know … the Library has an Overhead Projector that you can check out? This would be perfect for art projects, deco-rating, wall paintings – anytime you need to enlarge an image. Come and see us!
Our Seed Library at the Meeteetse Library has officially launched and we’re anxious to have you come and see it! Come by to find out what seeds and resources are available! There are seed packets for you to take, plant, nurture and then, if you’re so inclined, save seeds and give some back to the Seed Library for next year. There is a wide variety of seed – vegetable and flowers. Let’s get started gardening!!
Tech Time – are you stumped with your mobile device, laptop or tablet and need a little help? Wednesday mornings are a good time to come up to the Library for a little one-on-one help. I’m not an expert but I can help with most day-to-day tasks – get an app downloaded, get books to read or listen to on your device, send and receive emails and texts, and so on. YOU have to know and remember your login and passwords to all accounts – I can’t and won’t help you with this! But once you’re in I’m happy to help!!
