School Starts August 24, 2022 @ 8: 00am please be on the lookout for packets that will need to be filled out and sent back to the school. If your child has not enrolled yet please call the school and we will get that information sent out.
The school will be having an outdoor lab up Wood River on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 24. MEETEETSE LIBRARY COFFEE TALK & OTHER PROGRAMS
Meeteetse Library has a Fair Book available for In-House use (it can't leave the Library). If you need to make a couple copies it's on us, if you need many copies, it's on you!
Many, many thanks to all who helped with our Summer Reading Program and Party this year! It's always fun to see the kids (and adults!) in and out of the Library, excited about reading.
In August the Meeteetse Library is going to host a Tiny Art Show in a Tiny Library! But, first, we need the Tiny Art! We are inviting all Teens and Adults in the community to come and get a tiny canvas (4" square) to create a piece art. This can be oil paint, watercolor, pencil, scrapbook, collage, mixed media, photography, etc. Use your creativity, talent and ingenuity to produce a work of art that we can show! Stop by the Library to pick up the canvas - we also have some paints if needed.
And, looking ahead into August, we have a Magic Show coming on August 10 - the Magic of Elliot Hunter will astound and amaze!
Need a Notary? Kelly, from the Cody Library, is working on a project in Meeteetse and will be here (generally) on the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays of each month. She is a Notary - the service is free. Call for times (868-2248).
Did you know … the Library has an Overhead Projector that you can check out? This would be perfect for art projects, deco-rating, wall paintings – anytime you need to enlarge an image. Come and see us!
Our Seed Library at the Meeteetse Library has officially launched and we’re anxious to have you come and see it! Come by to find out what seeds and resources are available! There are seed packets for you to take, plant, nurture and then, if you’re so inclined, save seeds and give some back to the Seed Library for next year. There is a wide variety of seed – vegetable and flowers. Let’s get started gardening!!
Tech Time – are you stumped with your mobile device, laptop or tablet and need a little help? Wednesday mornings are a good time to come up to the Library for a little one-on-one help. I’m not an expert but I can help with most day-to-day tasks – get an app downloaded, get books to read or listen to on your device, send and receive emails and texts, and so on. YOU have to know and remember your login and passwords to all accounts – I can’t and won’t help you with this! But once you’re in I’m happy to help!!
