Fishable Rivers Near Meeteetse

    The Wood River flows off the Absaroka Mountains which creates fast moving water at cooler temperatures and fewer pools, creating the perfect challenge for travelling anglers. Fish that can be caught out of the Wood River include Yellowstone Cutthroat, Mountain whitefish and Brook trout.
