Toddler Stories and Activities are on Friday @ 10:00 - Everyone is welcome

Wednesday, June 15 we'll have our first Summer Reading performer, "Mr. Kneel, Hip-Hop for Families" at 10:00 in the School Cafeteria. This is free and open to everyone!

Thursday, June 16 at 7:00 John Fernandez will be at the Meeteetse Library to talk about Backyard Beekeeping. If you've ever thought of having a hive or are just curious about how the hives work this is the program for you!

The Library Book Group is reading "Still Life" by Louise Penny. This is the first in her long-running Detective Gamache mystery series. There are books available at the Library for check out, it is also available on Libby and Hoopla as an ebook or audiobook. Get a book and read with us! Book discussion will be Wednesday, June 15 at 1:00

Next week, Thursday, June 23 at 10:00 our Library Program will be a FOAM PARTY! Any one, Any age is invited to come and play in the foam! Bring a towel - I'm sure it'll be wet and a bit messy! We'll have a picnic lunch outside afterwards.

Did you know … the Library has an Overhead Projector that you can check out? This would be perfect for art projects, decorating, wall paintings – anytime you need to enlarge an image. Come and see us!

Spring is in the air (Finally? Maybe?) Our Seed Library at the Meeteetse Library has officially launched and we’re anxious to have you come and see it! Come by to find out what seeds and resources are available! There are seed packets for you to take, plant, nurture and then, if you’re so inclined, save seeds and give some back to the Seed Library for next year. There is a wide variety of seed – vegetable and flowers. Let’s get started gardening!!

On Wednesday afternoons at 2:00 the Library will show recorded video from the University of Wyoming “Barnyard & Backyard” series. These programs are shown live on Friday mornings via Zoom or Facebook – we’ll show the recordings at the time that best meets the needs of our community. For now, that seems to be Wednesday afternoons. They last about an hour and have some good tips applicable to Wyoming.

Meeteetse Library can now offer Notary Service on most Wednesdays! Kelly, who comes from the Cody Library to work on getting all of our books formatted, labeled, inventoried, coded, etc., is a Notary and she brings her stamp with her when she comes. Give us a call or stop in. It is Free of Charge and just one more service available at your Library.

Tech Time – are you stumped with your mobile device, laptop or tablet and need a little help? Wednesday mornings are a good time to come up to the Library for a little one-on-one help. I’m not an expert but I can help with most day-to-day tasks – get an app downloaded, get books to read or listen to on your device, send and receive emails and texts, and so on. YOU have to know and remember your login and passwords to all accounts – I can’t and won’t help you with this! But once you’re in I’m happy to help!!
