Wednesday, June 22 we'll FINALLY have John Fernandez in for the Honeybee Program!! This has been a mov-ing target but I promise it will "Bee" worth the wait! Join us at 7:00 pm to learn about having a backyard beehive. This will be good for those wanting to get started, those who are in the early stages of beekeeping and those of us who just want to learn more about it.
Thursday, June 23 at 10:00 our Library Program will be a FOAM PARTY! Any one, Any age is invited to come and play in the foam! Bring a towel - I'm sure it'll be wet and a bit messy! We'll have a picnic lunch outside afterwards.
At 3:30, Thursday, June 23 the Park County Library Board will meet in Meeteetse at the Meeteetse Library. This is a Public meeting and everyone is invited to attend.
Meeteetse Library will be CLOSED Saturday, July 2 - Monday, July 4 for Independence Day weekend. We wish everyone a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
Did you know … the Library has an Overhead Projector that you can check out? This would be perfect for art projects, decorating, wall paintings – anytime you need to enlarge an image. Come and see us!
Spring is in the air (Finally? Maybe?) Our Seed Library at the Meeteetse Library has officially launched and we’re anxious to have you come and see it! Come by to find out what seeds and resources are available! There are seed packets for you to take, plant, nurture and then, if you’re so inclined, save seeds and give some back to the Seed Library for next year. There is a wide variety of seed – vegetable and flowers. Let’s get started gardening!!
On Wednesday afternoons at 2:00 the Library will show recorded video from the University of Wyoming “Barnyard & Backyard” series. These programs are shown live on Friday mornings via Zoom or Facebook – we’ll show the recordings at the time that best meets the needs of our community. For now, that seems to be Wednesday afternoons. They last about an hour and have some good tips applicable to Wyoming.
Tech Time – are you stumped with your mobile device, laptop or tablet and need a little help? Wednesday mornings are a good time to come up to the Library for a little one-on-one help. I’m not an expert but I can help with most day-to-day tasks – get an app downloaded, get books to read or listen to on your device, send and receive emails and texts, and so on. YOU have to know and remember your login and passwords to all accounts – I can’t and won’t help you with this! But once you’re in I’m happy to help!!
