Meeteetse Library Coffee Talk and Other Programs
September is Library Card Sign Up Month! If you don't have a Library Card you should! Come up and let me tell you all the benefits you get with a Library Card!
The Tiny Art Show is coming to a close. It has been one of the most enjoyable projects we've done, but we're moving on to other things! Many, Many Thanks to all of the artists who allowed us to display their works. Everyone enjoyed it. You can pick up your art at the Library any time. We'll do it again next year - start thinking about it now!
Join us for Coffee Talk on Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 10:00 am. Our guest this month will be Tammy Schlenker, Principal at Meeteetse Schools. Come and hear how the new school year is shaping up, new programs, new staff, ... what-ever else you want to talk about! It's a chance to hear about one more thing that makes us "Uniquely Meeteetse"!
The Meeteetse Chatelaine Quilters have donated a fabulous Quilt to the Meeteetse Friends of the Library to be used as a fundraiser. Did you know … the Library has an Overhead Projector that you can check out? This would be perfect for art projects, decorating, wall paintings – anytime you need to enlarge an image. Come and see us!
Tech Time – are you stumped with your mobile device, laptop or tablet and need a little help? Wednesday mornings are a good time to come up to the Library for a little one-on-one help. I’m not an expert but I can help with most day-to-day tasks – get an app downloaded, get books to read or listen to on your device, send and receive emails and texts, and so on. YOU have to know and remember your login and passwords to all accounts – I can’t and won’t help
